Is It Time for a Transhumanist Olympics?
Great News from Zoltan Istvan:
“Friends, earlier this week Arianna Huffington welcomed me to bring my voice to The Huffington Post. I will be regularly writing about transhumanism, life extension, philosophy, art, and other exciting topics. My first story is below. Please share it with your friends and peers. Thanks!”
Yes! Great proposal: “Rather than change traditional sporting events, which holds a special place in many of our hearts, why not add a whole new category to them?” It doesn’t intrude on well-established sporting events, so there would be FAR less resistance to it than if you had proposed a radical change to the format of the long-standing, traditional Olympics.
I think a “Transhumanist Olympics” competition would be a VERY popular event, once the general public got used to the idea and how it differs from the mindset and performance levels of preexisting and OSTENSIBLY “non-enhanced” events.
And BRAVO to the Huffington Post for providing this forum for the presentation and discussion of the transhumanist worldview by someone with such a high level of dedication, passion and expertise as, Zoltan Istvan.
